I couldn’t figure out a way to detach them, so I’m guessing you will just have to wipe those down. The full-size seat pad is spill resistant and machine washable however, I’m not sure about the straps that hold baby in. With a baby in the house, most of the time you do everything one handed anyway. The dishwasher-safe tray (if you have a dishwasher big enough) offers the ability to take off and put on the tray with just one hand. The straps that attach the high chair to the chair are pretty long, so it should be able to fit any chair. The high chair straps on easily to your table chair with a strap around the back of the chair and a strap around the bottom of the chair. Once you get past that infant stage and into the toddler stage, this high chair easily converts into a booster for toddler dining. During all my pushing, prodding and testing, I was happy to discover that the tray stays level and does not move when reclining or adjusting the height. It also features a three-position height adjustment that grows as your baby grows and allows them to be more a part of mealtime with the whole family.
